A Walk Down the Aisle
'To love someone deeply gives you strength. Being loved by someone deeply gives you courage.'
--D.H. Lawrence. In honor of my only sister, who'll marry Ben this weekend, we pulled out this golden oldie from DHL. No sentiment seemed quite so right for the occasion as this one, and so we decided to use it again, three years after we first put it to use. Congratulations, guys.

Amen to that, my friend.
Aw. Congrats to your sister and Ben!
Ah...the proud brother!
Hope the weekend was wonderful!
It was a pretty nice time, Michelle. It would have been a lot nicer if my wife had also gone, though. But that's a story for another day. Or maybe never.
We have relatives there, too. He's an architect, she's a political enthusiast. We'll have to talk sometime about how your sister came to settle there with her business. Zane and Carole hail from those parts--they're Gloria's kin.
I'm sure with your literary powers that you will craft a memorable toast to offer on behalf of the couple. (But if you are at a loss I'd be glad to assist, for a small fee.)
I hope the eventually get to meet, Tim. Please send Zane and Carole the link to her website, and they can perhaps pop in sometime and say hello. And Mike, I didn't get a chance to give a toast--that was reserved for the best man. Just know that if I ever do call on your skills that way, that I'm a firm believer in the Woody Allen rule. As he said in one (or possibly more) of his movies: "I never pay retail."
The happy bride and groom wandered the hills of southern Ohio for three days, and finally were able to embrace all the loving energy that surrounded them all weekend. The happy bride found her brother's heart walking down the makeshift aisle with her, and noted its warmth and strength. Anybody not there to feel it, she figured, was the loser....
Love does indeed give us strength and courage, thanks for the reminder....Sis
