"Coal mine, moon shine, or move it on down the line." We always have three choices.
Ciao
NB
Not sure I ever heard that one, but thanks for adding it. But I'll probably spend the rest of the afternoon (at least) wondering who you are, NB.
My friend's father always said, "There's always three choices when it comes to making decisions about your life, moonshine, coal mine, or move it on down the line." He picked this up from the movie, Coal Miner's Daughter. I don't know why, but it stuck with me, and somewhat fitting to your post....

Aha. Thanks for clearing that up. The line sounded faintly, though only faintly, familiar. And of course it's because I kind of remembered it from the movie, which was fabulous. Thanks also for clearing up who you are, dear Neve.
I have read Gilbert's book, and it truly is worth your time.
Here is his web site.
I also saw him on The Colbert Report awhile back. He was an excellent and funny guest.
Thanks for the recommendation. I've kind of been wanting to read that, based on a review I read. But now I'll be sure to do so. You gotta be sharp to do well on Colbert, because he doesn't give you much of a chance most nights.
Interesting.
Anybody 3/3, batting 1.000?
With the poor local economy, foreclosures, underperforming sports teams, and usually poor weather [except this week!], I sure hope people around here chose their spouses well!
;-)
That made me laugh, V. Happily (for me, at least), I did pretty damn well in the spouse category. Here's hoping I get to meet yours some day.
