How Beautiful Women Can Induce Male Trances
Dear Carolyn,
My husband and I have been married for 35 years and get along well. He is very affectionate and complimentary to me, but practically goes into a trance if he sees an attractive woman -- even stopping in mid-conversation. I've told him it bothers me, but he continues.

She gives excellent advice. I have never been threatened when my spouse notices pretty women, but then again, I've been known to notice an attractive man from time to time.
It's natural to notice attractive people. Heck, I even notice attractive women, and usually am unafraid to compliment complete strangers. It's just part of being human.
I don't know, there seem to be a lot bigger things to argue about in a marriage than noticing attractive people. Like which way the toilet paper goes. *grinning*
It is indeed part of being human, and of having eyes. Glad to hear the female perspective.
And, I'd add, "an enlightened" female perspective... :)
That almost goes without saying, Miles. After all, Kim is one of our readers. You can't get much more enlightened than that...
Here's one excuse...

I guess that's one legacy we shouldn't mind leaving our children.
Darn, that link doesn't seem to be working, Jase. Here's hoping you might return to try again. Either way, thanks for adding to the conversation.
Women are getting more beautiful
Now I think I tagged it right. Sorry about that, I'm a carpenter, not a web programmer.
Now we got it. Thanks! A carpenter, huh? How cool. That's funny, because I've been enjoying your occasional comments, which got me to wondering a little about who you might be. One last question, but only if you care to answer: are you located in Northeast Ohio? And have you been reading this blog for awhile, or are you relatively new to it. Okay, I lied--that was two questions.
