At Least One
'Either write something worth reading or do something worth writing.'
--Benjamin Franklin. We've only had cause to mention the omni-talented Founding Father once before.

Can you imagine what Ben would have done for the blogosphere?
'Neither a spammer nor a phisher be'
He'd rule the place with his endless energy and wisdom. Maybe even inject a little electricity via his kite.
Whenever I am asked "who would I most like to have dinner with, either dead or alive?", my answer has always been... Ben. Fascinating amazing man. A true visionary. Thank goodness he didn't REALLY think Silence DidBest.
He'd surely be a lively dinner companion. But I'm afraid I'd have to go for Lincoln and Einstein first, with him perhaps my third choice. Couldn't go wrong with any of them. And hell, just think how nice it would be to record the conversation. It might be worth something.
Wouldn't that be a fabulous short story?
I think so.
Franklin is one of those historical figures that I'd love to sit down with and have a beer or two. Maybe even talk about his famous "A Letter to a Royal Academy"...
I'm not familiar with that letter, Miles, so I'm going to look it up and learn a little about it. Meanwhile, I'd love to hear about why you find it especially noteworthy.
