Working With Words

Such hindsight.
How I wish for the wisdom to forsee what road each of the two candidates might take us down. At this point either tourguide has such a rocky road ahead that I am grateful to those who ask the tough questions. Of course we all appreciate it when the interviewer shuts up long enough for us to hear the response!
There are times like today's blog when a few words are all that are needed to stoke the fire of passion for the responsibility we have for the seemingly paltry single vote we each clutch. The discussion is not merely for our entertainment, it will shape the world our children will inherit. Don't be satisfied with a party line, a sound byte, or an emotional tribute. Who has sound reasons for their beliefs, who has the strength and fortitude to back them up, and who espouses a vision we truly share?
I hope we cut through the crap here and look forward to the continuing discussion.
I'm also in favor of cutting through the crap. I thought the bullet points on the side of that bus spoke more eloquently than I ever could.
The crap is manifest. It needs to be flushed.
Let's hope there are restrooms aboard. But you know the Bushies and their disdain for the enviroment. They'd probably just dump all the untreated waste matter along the side of the road.
Bushies? Haha.
Character still counts in sports, but I want a microscope to examine these two with. Couldn't get me to run for that job with a gun put to my head but since these two are so eager to make their mark on this world, bring on the best links as you find them, John. So much of what I find are roots that are shallow and of little consequence. Bring us some deep thinkers and crap-cutters if you can find them while you are doing your usual digging, if you will. Looking forward to some animated verbal wrangling.
We'll be only too happy to oblige in coming weeks, Scott.
YOu libs vote for Obama and you will wish Bush was still around.
Yes, I'm positive that the Bush Administration will seem like a high point in U.S. history very soon. So many wonderful things have happened in those eight years, haven't they? I think he'll rank right up there with Lincoln and FDR in the history books.
