Now Here's a Book
Worth Checking Out

The title of this book grabbed my interest, as did the cover photo. And this brief Q&A with the author further seduced me. I haven't seen it in bookstores yet, but I'll surely be looking for it next time I'm there. To learn more about the author--who's been described as "the most entertaining tech policy geek in the world. Imagine Dennis Miller with a cyberlaw degree"--you can check out his website.

Wanted to say that over time, I have grown to appreciate the design of your blog more and more. I like the colors you chose, the fonts, even the names that are not capitalized. It is not too busy, and certainly not too commercial. I wondered what the orange icon is before some names in your comment section. Is it an "e," a "B," or something else?

It's a B...for Blogger. It's just the site where the blog is hosted is all. :)

How wonderful to see one reader answering another's question. Thanks Theresa: you've got the contract as the Working With Words Answer Desk if you want it. The pay's nothing to speak of, but the fringe benefits...well, we'll have to invent something. Seriously, though, I appreciate it.

Have an AWESOME time, by the way, on your first European jaunt. I'm hoping to chat with you, however, briefly, before you take off, and I'd love to post your impressions here after you get back, should you care to share them with everyone.

Certainly! I can't wait to go...although it's hard to believe I'm leaving SATURDAY!!!
I'll have pictures to bring back for sure. I got our itinerary for while we're there and we'll be visiting Reuters, The Guardian Newspaper, BBC, APTV (The Associated Press), among many other advertising and PR agencies. My prof is still trying to get us into the International Herald Tribune. I'll let you know how all of this goes :)
