If any of that stuff scares you, you shouldn't be freelancing.
Right on, Erin.
I'm gonna disagree with that. While it's all nice to pat ourselves on our backs for our fearlessness, sometimes one is pushed into freelancing because there's no other choice, if the local market has otherwise dried up.
Then one discovers courage, which is NOT fearlessness. John Wayne said it best:
"Courage is being scared to death and saddling up anyway."
Speaking as a freelancer, I'm often courageous but almost never fearless.
