Amen, John.
I've finally updated my blog. I've narrowed the focus a bit and just added an interview. Tell me what you think! I'm also looking for interview suggestions.
Hope you are well.
I try to get my students to problem solve. Only problem is, they often want the solution served to them in a power suit and don't realize that thinking requires work.
I hope you'll get a chance to read around my blog this weekend; and thanks for the nice comment on Jill's blog. Oh, no, I am not a bitter, divorced woman, I am a woman who is living her life, problems and all, and writing about them.
Pat, wonderful update and additions! Congratulations. I'll certainly noodle on your question and send you anything I come up with, but I hope some other readers might do so as well after a click and a visit to your blog.
And Laura, I'm glad you stopped by. Welcome. I did immediately pick up on the serious and balanced tone of your blog with just a quick inspection, so please just ignore obnoxious commenters and do your own thing as you see fit. Let the carpers carp, or start their own. Anyway, I hope you'll come back, and I look forward to reading more of your work in coming days. Happy new year to you both (and of course to all of you gentle readers as well, even you tiny coterie of Rush Limbaugh fans who occasionally stop by for a quick carpet-bombing).

It can be a cruel curriculum sometimes, but in the end, nearly always beneficial.
If it all depends on how you look at it, ya gotta look at this.....

Welcome, Tor. We love first-time commenters around here. They hold a special place in our hearts. I got a kick out of that video, and an even bigger kick out of looking around your blog. I see that Letterman's lampooning of Bush, via his Great Moments in Presidential Speeches, got your attention as it did mine. That segment will be sorely missed. Anyway, I hope you'll stop back regularly and lighten the proceedings around here. With the long sunless Cleveland winter, we could use it.
