(beautiful silence)
.
Okay, I just got it, Michelle. Thanks for visiting, both of you.
A loved one died this morning. There is nothing more silent than death, nor anything more eloquent than a life lived in love. Wise words born in silence can bring hope and healing; if we all only listen the hoped for words of those our hearts ache to hear, absent the caring touch or knowing smile, is another death to cope with.
Well said and eloquent. Bears repetition.
I should paste that one on the back of my hand. The picture is perfect.
Lovely. Goes right up there next to my own personal favorite, "Words stink up the place," by Duke Ellington.
Diane, I hope you'll send a photo if you do paste it on your hand. And welcome, Scott. Always great to see a new name in the comments. Hope you'll keep coming back. I found your blog quite interesting, by the way.
