'Stay at your table and listen. Don't even listen, just wait. Be completely quiet and alone. The world will offer itself to you to be unmasked.'
--Franz Kafka. If you happen to be fluent in German, you can check out the Kafka Project, an effort to publish all his work online. But don't worry, there's more than enough here in English for the casual browser.

The Kafka project is impressive. I enjoyed teaching The Metamorphosis in two classes last semester. It is indeed a work of art--and Kafka remained dissatisfied with it. In class, I perfected my high-pitched voice to be Gregor as beetle. In one section, I actually got down on the floor and was ... (don't want to give away the ending if you haven't read it).

It is impressive, isn't it? I had never come across it before. And good for you for being so creative in adding interactive elements to your teaching presentation. But then, we already had heard what a great teacher you are.
